craving for apple pie...
For some reason, I had a craving for apple pie tonight. Maybe I think it's because I saw one of the kids eating it earlier. I think I'll buy one from McDo later before I go home.
Heheheheheh, remember my diskette yesterday? I told one of the girls from Macroscope about it, and to my relief, the drive always gets stuck, so it's not my fault. Goody.
We started Playshop yesterday with "The Telephone Hour" from Bye Bye Birdie. Tito Audie first took out the people over 20 (me included, though I'm only 20) because we're too old for the song. Eheheheh, a lotta people were surprised to find out how old I was. Then when we older people got bored, Tito Audie finally told us that the girls who were interested in auditioning "I Will Never Leave You" from Side Show should learn the song since we're not doing anything. As it turns out, all the girls with me wanted to try out for it. Since I don't want to be left all alone in the back wall, I decided to learn the song as well and join them. Then we had to audition individually when everyone else was dismissed. Nyak, a lot of people hung around for our audition. Eep. Tita Menchu let us go over the song together once, but I still couldn't get the hang of the first part of the song. I ended up bugging Shan coz she got to learn the song with most of the rest last Tuesday. Arg, my voice was OK in the chorus, but I kept getting lost in some of the softer parts. But thank goodness I tried out for Daisy instead of Violet, coz Violet has to belt the last part. I didn't get either one. Mish will be Violet while Shan got Daisy (All right, Shan!). But I wanna try out for everything. Oh well. There's always tomorrow and on Saturday.
I went to Yamaha today to ask about voice lessons. I've been dying to take voice lessons for years, but after taking drumming lessons and couldn't cut it, I've been afraid to juggle lotsa things at once. I went there today anyway. I told my mom about it anyway, so I hope they'll let me go. The lady who was at the receptionist's table was pretty nice. She told me that I can use any songs I want to use, most especially Broadway, since I told her that I have a background in musical theater.
I wonder when my 'rents will give the go signal. Or rather, if they give the go signal.
Oh yeah, and I still have to go to school tomorrow to pay my tuition fee. I wonder what I'll do to kill time afterwards.
