a little break
I got home pretty early today, and we interns weren't even expected in Meralco.
I was supposed to have a 6-9 pm class tonight, but since I heard that my teacher won't be coming at all, I decided to come home right away. It's been a while since I did that.
Now I'm bored. What on earth am I going to do? There's nothing much to do here at home.
Anyway, so I went to Meralco alone yesterday. Sir Shax didn't know what to do with me yet, so I sat in the audience area as usual. When the cast started coming in, I went backstage to ask Sir Shax if I'm needed somewhere. He passed me to Dobi, the ASM (assistant stage manager). Dobi then told me that I could be the one to draw the black curtain that conceals one half of the wardrobe when it pulls apart. Cool. When I saw where I was to be stationed, it was just a small corner with a chair, and with exit heading backstage. That means that if I leave my post, I would be seen by the entire audience. Eep. Oh well, at least I get to watch the entire show. ^_^ Anyhoo, we didn't do it last night, because they're still fixing the curtains. So I got to sit in the audience again. Well, I sure hope I'll still get assigned to that post. Since I know that show backwards and forwards, I already know that I'll be working the curtain rope about 5 times (3 times in the beginning of Act 1, and twice in the ending of Act 2). ^_^
Mmmm...I'm getting addicted to those cheese logs with salsa that they're selling at Plaza V this week. And now I'm craving for them again. I wonder where they got the salsa stuff. It makes a good dip for chips.
