Yup, the playtime was expected to happen during tonight's shows. Especially during the evening.

Nothing much happened during the matinee show. Though I got a free mango float from Chevy, eheheheheh. Because I ran a food errand for Tito Joey the Evil Giant (who wanted 2 tuna sandwiches from the lobby) and Jamie (who had a craving for mango float) while they were vocalizing, Chevy wanted a mango float as well. Nyak, the only problem was that the house was already open, it was raining outside (so I had no way of going around to the lobby) and I had to stay backstage in case Dobi wanted me to wear the headset. So I promised I'd get him his mango float during intermission (which I did), and he gave me extra money to get my own mango float that I shared with Bing.

Oh yeah, Donita Rose went backstage with her fiance. Paolo was with Becky, Joel, Patrick and me in the makeup when she came in. Wow, she looks a lot prettier in person.

So Chevy played Peter during the evening show. It was a full house, and the cast's energy was really high. I thought everything would go smoothly. And then while I was pulling the curtain closed after the first time Lucy (Alexa) and Edmund (Inaki) enters Narnia, the rope that pulls the curtain open fell off. Yikes! I had to scurry to Lemuel and Sir Shax about this problem. And the only way it could be fixed is that the curtain should be pulled open again so that the rope would be tied back to it's proper place, meaning we had to wait for intermission to fix it. I ended up pulling the curtain myself along with Sir Shax, who was on the scaffold with a long pole.

And the fight between Peter and Fenris was more intense than the usual, it seems. Everyone at the backstage mic were cheering louder than usual for Peter, and everyone was full of energy.

Waheheheh, and before Peter entered that scene, Jamie and I went to Chevy and grabbed him, so he might miss his cue to enter. Heeheehee. Chev did it before with Paolo once. As for Paolo, he claimed he was "harassed" during "The Sacrifice" when he was posed as a Tree Spirit, and the Evil Narnians were coming up to him, making faces and touching him.

And of course, the talk between Aslan (Tito Audie) and the Witch (Tita Menchu). Tito Audie was making Tita Menchu laugh yesterday while they were miming things such as the Stone Table. So Tita Menchu braced herself for Tito Audie's latest attempt. It was funnier than she expected. Tito Audie had a picture of Tita Enchang (Mrs. Macready) hidden in his paw, in full costume and in character. It reminded Tita Mench of a "Mini-Me" version of Aslan, because Tita Enchang's hair color matched Aslan's mane, so it made her shake with laughter. She noticed that her shoulders were visibly shaking, so she covered it up by doing huge hand gestures, but it was obvious to all of us that she was dying of laughter already. Now Tita Menchu really wants revenge.

Oh darn, because of the anticipation of Tito Audie's and Tita Menchu's antics in that scene, I forgot to go to stage left during "Deep Magic" to taunt the evil Narnians. They tend to do the silliest things in that scene, especially Dan and Roden, who like to face me and Jojo (and sometimes Carmen) everytime they swing their bodies in our direction. They're so hilarious, with Dan making funny faces (it's funny enough with his make-up and fake fangs on) and Roden playing around with his flag.

The sad part of the night? I didn't get to see Ari. And to think that I told a bunch of people in the cast that he was coming. Franco even asked if he could meet him. Darn it. Dein left immediately after the show, so I couldn't find Ari. Arg...

I gotta go. NATSC11 finals will be at 8 this morning. I'd better take in a few hours of sleep before I leave for school.
