bumming
It's my mom's birthday today. She woke me up at 5:30 this morning, telling me to get up and get ready because our parish priest was coming over for a house blessing and breakfast. I got out of bed an hour after that. I saw a puffy-eyed reflection of myself in the mirror. Arg. What's more, my back's giving me problems again. Is this the work of the sofa-bed or just how I slept? Or is the ache from last weekend's fall coming back? (In case you're wondering, I slipped and fell down the stairs at the LRT station last Saturday. I landed on my butt, but sometime after that, the lower right part of my back started to hurt.)
For some reason, I'm not in the mood to do anything today. I just bummed around, watching TV and reading.
What a shape I'm in right now. How am I gonna face the people in Meralco like this? Nah, they won't notice anything's wrong with me. I sure hope Tito Joey or Tito Bonggoy won't notice anything's wrong. They always seem to see what's going on in the minds of me and Bing.
Ouch, there goes my back again. And the person I rely on for a massage won't be available for a while. Damn it.
