the last day
Today is the final day of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It's finally ending this year's run. How sad. I'm gonna miss them. Well, except maybe Chevy and Jamie. We still see each other in school anyway. But I'm gonna miss that wacky bunch of cast and crew.
Bing got her chance at the stage right headset yesterday, for both shows. I got to be with Raymond at the lapel corner. Nyak, I can't believe I wanted to do the lapel thing. I just had to sit there and wait for someone's lapel to be put on, switched on and off, and to have batteries changed. What's more I had a problem with Chesca's (Little Fox's) lapel, because instead of hairpins, she used paper clips to attach the wire to her hair, and it got in a little tangle. Grrr... And of course, I had to collect the lapel mikes from the upstairs dressing rooms, and I had to go through the guys dressing rooms to get to the girls'. When I was getting Johann's lapel, I had to hide behind one of the closets because I saw him in his boxers and I didn't want to be rude. But he saw me and let me in even though he was still in that attire. And then I caught more of the guys in states of undressing when I was getting the lapels after the last show. Tito Joey was laughing so hard when he saw me scurrying back and forth so fast through the rooms, while Jamie and Dein and the rest were shouting in mock shock. Jeez.
It's Raymond's turn at the headset today. I think I'll help Bing with the lapels.
I bought a souvenir program yesterday. We interns didn't get free programs, darn it. In Proof, I got to have a goody bag, filled with a free T-shirt, a company photo, a souvenir program and a keychain. So I had to buy a program at the lobby. I made a bunch of the cast sign it, and I'm gonna get the rest of them later. I haven't gotten Tito Audie and Tita Menchu to sign in it yet. And the rest of the guys upstairs.
I gotta go. I'm going to Meralco early because a bunch of the cast will be performing The Happy Prince at the theater basement at noon.
