no break
I met up with Ari yesterday morning after going to the library. I had to take out the book of Broadway musical scores from our own library for MUSTUD1 class. Then I had to ask Ari to borrow a book from the DLSU library for me. Unfortunately, the book couldn't be checked out because it was an archive, so I had to have it photocpied. It was kind of a hassle, because he had to meet up with this candle-making company that day. I couldn't help apologizing to him again and again after that.
After that, we left, so we went to South Mall, where we had lunch. I was planning to meet Lawyn that day so I could borrow her Hey, Mr. Producer CD, so I went ahead to ATC while Ari went home. As it turns out, Lawyn was working on a group project so she wasn't able to meet me. Oh well. So I went around for a while in ATC before going home.
I can't believe I actually had fun in INTROPD class this morning. First we watched a video of ABS-CSB. We had fun laughing at all the parts we saw when we watched it live. Then we broke into our groups so we could work on our scale models for our assigned plays. Last week, with Miss Cindy's permission, we changed our play (Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Elliot) to Ghosts by Henrik Ibsen. We managed to do the scaled floor, the walls, and the doors today, and we're gonna work on it some more next week.
While we were packing up all our art supplies at the end of the class, Miss Cindy was giving our group some suggestions on how to dress the scaled set, when I remembered that Iam had a craft book that had a section on dollhouses and dollhouse furniture. Since I was going to her house this evening to return her Left Behind book, I asked her if I could borrow it.
Nyak, when I got home, it was already dark ourside and raining hard that my dad almost didn't let me go back out. Fortunately he let me, but only if he drives me to Iam's house and back. Oh well, that's what we did. Too bad I didn't get to hang out at Iam's house. And then we got stuck in traffic on the way there, and to think that we were already taking the Friendship Route. Anyway, I got the book, and fortunately, the dollhouses features period furniture and clothes, including Victorian, which we needed. Yay.
