morning at the park
On the way home from Mass this morning, my brother asked if my cousin Grace and I wanted to play badminton in the park while he does his daily morning run. Hahaha, it was actually his way of asking us if we could bring his water and Gatorade for him while he runs. Well, I wanted to go out and play anyway, so I agreed. It's much better going out and get some exercise instead of parking my ass in front of the PC again like I always do.
My brother went ahead to the park for a head start, then Grace and I followed. Darn, the nice spot of the park with lots of shade was already occupied by this huge family which was also playing badminton. So we had to settle for another shady spot near the jogging path, so we can hand Kuya his Gatorade bottle whenever he would pass by.
When we got tired of playing, we saw that the park swings weren't occupied, so we played around there. Hahaha, we reminisced the times we went to the park near Ate Shang's house, where we would ride bikes (no matter that the road was pretty steep on the way down with all those speed bumps) and played with the swings.
Actually, I took the time as an oppurtunity to bond with my cousin. We just sat on the swings and talked, occasionally handing Kuya his water and Gatorade whenever he needed it. It was pretty fun, because I never found the time to talk to Grace ever since she started staying at home.
