proof
Krystal called me this evening. She texted me saying she wanted to ask me something, so I had her call me.
As it turned out, her Worlite class needed to attend this workshop thing, but because she was sick, she proposed that she do a scene from a play instead, and she wanted my help as well. Meaning what? I act with her, ahahaha. Holy kamote, act alongside the sister of Razorback's Kevin Roy and Kapatid's Karl Roy? Act alongside this theater freak (hahaha, as if I'm not one) who was brought up on Rent with the company of Bituin Escalante? Huwaw, give me the script!
All the scripts Krys has are from the productions that Atlantis made. She initially decided on a monologue, preferably something from Tick Tick Boom, but all the monologues it has segues into songs, and she doesn't want to sing. So the next option? Proof.
We talked a bit, and we've decided to do the 1st half of the play's last scene in the 2nd act. FYI, the 2 female roles in this straight play were played by Lea Salonga and Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo in early 2002. Coolness.
Hahaha, Krys had emailed me the script already, and I'm reading both women's lines.
