sending messages
Sometimes, when I feel like it, I send text messages to people I haven't texted in a long time. Sometimes a forwarded message, sometimes a simple message of my own, saying hello and that I miss them. I do it because I like keeping in touch and I want to let them know that I'm still here.
It amuses me at how people respond.
Most people ignore forwarded messages, so maybe that's why I send personal messages of my own. People do reply, even just to say hi, and that makes me happy enough to hear from them.
So anyway, that's what I did today. And it brings a smile to my face everytime. Why? It's surprising because most the people who responded were the ones I never expected to reply. The others were pretty sweet. The others, a simple reply of hello. Either way, it's nice to know that they're there. It's pretty comforting.
