After class yesterday, I went to Greenbelt for Qua's thesis/event at Temple Bar. I went there early because I wanted to window-shop (hahaha, didn't bring munch cash), and probably hope I'd run into a few friends that I could invite to the event.

Spent most of my alone time walking around, going in and out of stores. Then I got a text message from my cousin Ate Shang and found out that she and (ugh) her boyfriend Edmund were also there in Greenbelt. We met up at Music One, and then we walked and talked and caught up on each other's news. Heck, I haven't seen this girl in a long time because of her work, plus the damn tight leash that Edmund keeps on her. Honestly, I don't know why she still stays with him even if she knows he's such a jerk to her. *shakes head*

Found Rain, Genevieve, and a couple of others (ahaha, I forgot their names) as we were walking to Greenbelt 2. Lucky I found them, because Ate Shang and Edmund had to go. Joined Rain and the others, and we even ran into Nina.

They all decided to eat at Mcdo, and even if Nina and I had already eaten, we decided to join them. After that, we decided to head on to Temple Bar (heck, it was already 10, and nothing's happening yet). The moment Nina and I stepped inside, the first face we regcognized was that of MTV VJ Johan. As it turned out, he was the event's host. Hmmm... he doesn't really look all that up close.

When the fashion show began, I stood close to Dhel, who was manning a camera. Man, the whole place was jampacked, so it was pretty hard for some people to see. If it wasn't for the projector screen, Sir Manolet wouldn't have seen a thing.

Only one girl's designs caught my eye. Not too outrageous, yet very colorful and eye-catching, because most of the designs were way too whimsical for my taste.

The whole thing just lasted for half an hour, then a bunch of my classmates and I hung around outside. There was Dang, Dhel, Mara, Alex, Aiko, Anthony, Michelle, and Jhoi. We walked around for a while, because they wanted to go someplace else where they could drink and be merry. Nyak, leave it to Dhel and Jhoi to ask me about where Nyoy is and began teasing, with Jhoi saying, "Selos ako kay Hogi." What is it with that? Just because I knew him from way back doesn't mean I was linked to him. *bonk*

What can I say about that? Let's just say I hope my article gets published, nyahahahahaha...

They decided to go to Malate, so I bid them goodbye.

Anyway, while I was walking toward the terminal, I passed by a lot of places with cherished memories. Once again, seeing Temple Bar and looking up at the OnStage Theater's loading dock. The first floor "food court" of Greenbelt 1, where I hung around regularly with Bea, Arnel, Adjeng, Bito, Krystal, Nyoy, Lana, and Tita Menchu. Walking all the way from Greenbelt 1 to Landmark and back in the span of a few minutes. Greenbelt 3 Food Choices. The cinemas, where I watched Chicago by my lonesome because of boredom (and because Ariel didn't tell me he was also in the area early). Glorietta. Taking the shuttle for the first few times that Lana and Rony had to tell me where to go, and Myrene and Nyoy had no idea if I knew where I was going. And even when I was already seated in the air conditioned shuttle, there was Dusit Hotel.

Then the "what if's" returned to haunt me.

I just shrugged it off. I hate it when that happens.
