the birthday/reunion party
So time to post about yesterday.
Met up with Rosa and Aris at ATC, then we hung around the food court so Aris can grab a bit to eat, plus so Rosa and I can get some halo-halo, hehehe. Pigged out on chicken skin as well because of Rosa's crazy cravings. After that, we decided to shoot some pool while waiting for Iam and Raffy to arrive from Makati.
Rosa kept joking at how much my hair could be a hindrance while playing pool.
Rosa: Hogz, yung hair mo nakakalat na sa table.
Me: (while leaning over the pool table) Wala yan sa haba ng buhok!
*shoots the ball into a side pocket*
Ehehehehehe...
Wahahaha, when Iam sent me a text message telling me that they had already arrived in ATC, she followed it up with a phone call, saying the funniest phrase I heard all day. "Punta kami dyan o puntahan namin kayo?" Hahahaha! So we asked them to join us in our last game, then we paid and hung around the food court again to wait for Josh so we could all go to PJ's house together.
When Josh arrived, man, we were so surprised at how thin he got these past few months. Huwaw. Anyway, we all set off for PJ's house, and we happened to be the first ones there. Raffy just greeted Peej a happy birthday then had to leave right away. Aw...
It was so great to see some of the people I haven't seen in a long time. I haven't seen Yelle, Jackie and even Joy in at least a year. Even some people from the track and field team came, like Mela, Aggie, Dan, Hofi and Bins.
It's been quite a while since we all last saw each other so everyone had their share of stories, what's been going on, who's dating who, what line of work everyone's in, or even if they've already graduated. Man, when everyone starts asking about work, that's when you start feeling old.
Of course, there's even talk about that darn bet the guys made in high school. I mean who would want to win that bet anymore? Hahaha, Rosa even proposed a new bet because we were talking about who already has a family in the batch, but the guys vetoed that one real quick.
All in all, I had a blast because I saw my barkada again. I always feel as if hardly get to see them anymore.
