I found a text message in my phone the other night from Jun, and I only replied during the wee hours of the morning. I got his reply again yesterday morning, telling me that he has a new project in mind and was asking for my help. I found him online (like me, also in invisible mode) and he told me a bit more about the project, which was a CD and songbook of church songs that he wants to sell.

And what does this have to do with me? He needed a production manager. Gak, what the heck do I know about being a production manager?

Me: so..
Me: songbook and cd?
Jun: yup!
Me: interesting..
Me: so what can i do to help?
Jun: need a production staff... that's pretty much you!
Me: hahaha, one person prod staff
Me: so what do i do?
Jun: actually i need logistic details on producing and selling music. all the info you can get...
Me: producing and selling details..
Jun: don't know lang kasi the business side of producing and selling... creatively, wala nang problema... have 80% of the songs done na
Me: so producing and selling lang talaga
Jun: yup...
Jun: thanks PRODUCTION MANAGER!
Me: hala...

Plus we also talked about making another event, like this party he wants to do. I guess it's because he missed doing that whole Funk Not Dead thing at Culture club before. Anyway, we decided to meet yesterday, because I know it's gonna be uber-hard to fit another meeting in his busy schedule. We were supposed to meet after lunch, and then he moved it to later in the afternoon, so I went to ATC, where we were supposed to meet.

Holy kamote, while I was browsing in Powerbooks, I ran into Rina, whom I haven't seen in at least 2 years. She's finally back after staying in Japan for a year, and wow, she looks so, so different now. But she's still the same old Rina I knew back in high school.

Evening came, and still no sign of Jun. Man, he said he was finishing up something, and where the heck was he? Arg... I decided to pre-occupy myself with window-shopping, and then checked out that acoustic night thing being set-up. I never knew that it was going to be an annual thing after last year when Nyoy and Paolo Santos came to ATC. Man, till when will this acoustic thing last? Ahahaha, as if I wasn't a fan of the music before.

Hahaha, when I found Mikki (with friend Christian) Powerbooks, he asked me if I was gonna drop by Playshop. I had this huge question mark on my face, because I forgot that it was a Friday! HAHAHAHA! I lost track of what day it is! He then asked what I was doing there, and I told him I was waiting for a friend. If I tell him I was meeting Jun, I'd know for a fact that he'd tell Lawyn and Mae and everyone else back in Playshop that he saw me and I was waiting for Jun. And of course, knowing Law and Mae, they'd think of something again. Hay nako.

When I was about to leave to walk around, I saw Aris and Seph enter to check out the fantasy books. I went with them for a while while Seph went out for a smoke, until finally, Jun texted me to meet him in front of Powerbooks. And what time was it? Past 9 in the evening. Holy kamote...

It was too crowded to talk in Starbucks or Seattle's Best, so we went upstairs to San Francisco's Best instead. Huwaw, how in the world can I be a PM when I don't even know how? Oh help. We ended up talking more about the new party, thinking of all the bands and people who are up for that kind of music (hahaha, imagine us trying to bring back GLAM ROCK), plus a close venue here in the south because there's too much competition in Makati and Libis. We even went inside AAV to check out Narra Park, but I doubt we can hold it there because the place is too quiet.

Hmmm... I wonder if we could pull off both the CD-songbook idea (and sell it) and the party?
