MT1 reunion
Got to meet with Leola, DA and Kuya Jude yesterday during lunch. Great meeting you guys!
I'm getting amused with my Joseph cast. They seem to eager to do the show. We mostly did music rehearsals last night, and Sir Jed taught "Joseph's Coat".
Had to fly early from rehearsal because our MT1 class (from 2002) had a reunion last night. Heck, Jamie had called earlier yesterday asking if I was coming, and Karl even rang my phone in the middle of rehearsal. I was still expecting that they'd still be at ATC, but when I boarded a bus, I got a text from Jun that they were at Dencio's. Ngak, I was hoping it would be somewhere easier to go by commute. Oh well. But thank goodness he asked if I might have a hard time getting there, so he picked me up at Caltex near Bellevue.
Mikki was with Jun when they picked me up, and we waited a little while longer because Dari was also meeting us there. Hahaha, we even saw Ryan Agoncillo arrive with his motorcycle. Anyway, then when Dari texted again, he said that he was there. Nyak, no Dari in sight, so we figured he was at the other Caltex, near Ford! Ngak. So we picked him up there and went to Dencio's. Wahahaha, 80s sound trip...we found a station that played "Take On Me" and cranked up the volume.
When we reached Dencio's, I was so hyper. I was so thrilled to see them all together again. There was Mikki, Jun, Dari Lawyn (with Mae in tow), Kathy, Shan, Ecel, Thea, Jamie and Karl. And naks, SIAM's Jeff was also there to jam with the band. Speaking of the band, boxxcolony's Camille was the vocalist! I haven't seen that girl in quite a while.
Ahahaha, since I haven't eaten anything that day since lunch with Leola, DA and Kuya Jude, I was starving. Thank goodness Shan waited for me to arrive so we can eat. But man, it was already 11 in the evening! Plus our food arrived late, around past midnight. Hahaha, hirit ni Shan when it arrived, "We ordered our food last night. It arrived this morning." Man, kulitan galore. Favorite quote for the night was Thea's "NakakashEt!" AHAHAHAHAHA!
Karl had to go home at around midnight (hahaha, Cinderella), so Jamie had to drive him home, but promised to be back.
It started drizzling, and the table we were sitting at didn't have a roof, so we switched tables. Ahahaha, then guess who moved into the table next to us? Ari and his clique. Hahaha.
Anyway, we even got Kathy to jam with Camille's band. Naks. Hahaha, of course, I just had to do the patented HUWAW, no matter how annoyed the other table got. Then Kathy had to leave, along with Lawyn and Mae, so we had to say goodbye to them.
After paying the bill, we all left and stood around the parking area. Hahaha, we were supposed to move to another place for coffee, but instead we just stood around there for quite some time, just talking, until we said goodbye to Thea and Jamie, then the rest of us (Shan, Mikki, Jun, Ecel and Dari), piled up in Jun's car and set off for our respective houses.
