This is a long entry so…

Last Friday, I got out of rehearsal early to go to Malate church to shoot The Wedding. Ari and I got there at almost the same time, and we went to the side of the church where Gina was. We mostly hung around, because there was a real wedding still taking place in the church. Some of the other cast members (most of which I had only met that day) arrived after a while, and even after the wedding, they still had to set up, so we really had nothing to do but hang around. I practically did nothing the whole night except for two scenes, where Ronald (who plays Eugene, the wedding singer) screws up the wedding song, and when I have to go down the aisle. Ngak, I only did those two scenes, but the latter one was filmed at around past 4 in the morning, so I didn’t get any sleep at all. It was almost 5 when I had taken off my dress (my own bridesmaid dress I once wore to my cousin’s wedding) and my make-up, and then because there wasn’t really much time to go home before going to school for community service orientation, I went with Ari to AIM instead.

I ended up sleeping on the couch and missing the orientation, blah. I was so out of it that I slept until it was time for lunch. We were supposed to go to Marah’s after that, but I had to go back home to get some stuff so I can sleep over at Jill’s, so I didn’t go.

Off to Jill’s house in the evening. We sat around in her room, watching the first part of the American version of The Ring, then we switched to Star In A Million. Ended up going with Tito Sunny and Tita Sherbet to Off The Grill later that night, and then finding Jill already asleep when we returned.

Ngak, I woke up when it was almost 4, when I was needed at Dish for Nicole’s music video. Mic, Teena and I set up the tables and chairs and stuff with Chiko and Red, and waited for the people to arrive. Huwaw, the people who were supposed to be in the video were supposed to be there by 6, but only the Blue Rep people arrived on time. The artist, with her family in tow, arrived uber late, practically lugging her entire wardrobe with her. While Nicole was getting ready, I had to stand-in for her onstage for a while, playing with Teena’s electronic Boggle.

Jill, who wanted to go to ASAP, got a text from Nyoy telling her that he was near ABS. Hahaha, she had asked the night before if he can get her backstage at ASAP, and so he agreed to meet her at Dish that morning. We wanted Nyoy to do a cameo appearance in the video, but he had to leave, so he took Jill with him, and Jill took me with her. I was inside the dressing rooms with them when Teena called, saying we had to clean Dish up, so I went back down with Kuya Gilbert. When everything was done, I had little time left before I go to Moon Palace Restaurant for the reception scenes of The Wedding, so I stayed at ABS for a while then took a cab to Shaw.

Gina was already upstairs when I arrived, but then she had to go back to Wack Wack to get the other props, so I stayed behind. People were still arriving then, so I had time to go through my script. One of the scenes David wanted to do was my scene as Lori the maid of honor and Ari as the photographer (don’t even ask), so I changed into my dress and started going through my lines with Ari. They did one of Kiko’s scenes first, so we had some time, but hahaha, people started teasing us by then because of the scene we were going to do.

Man, I’ve never done a scene like this before, so it was pretty awkward. But it was sort of fine, considering the scene was with Ari. But man, the fact that everyone was watching us silently with the camera and lights on us, gaaaahhh… We did the scene a few times because of all the camera angles (the hassles of having only one camera, gr…), and by the end of it, my feet were so tired of standing (darn shoes).

The other scene I was in wasn’t until past 10 that evening, and I was already getting so sleepy. I was lacking sleep that I wasn’t really in the mood to do a scene where I had to do a long speech, but I really didn’t have much choice. Plus I had to do the scene over and over because the guy who played the best man had to change some of his lines, and then Danny had to write down his own lines on the whiteboard because he kept forgetting it.

I was so relieved when it was all over. And now I’m finally back here at home with my own bed. I’m still lacking sleep, and my eyes are red and sore. I can’t go to school this evening for rehearsal because I’m still feeling groggy. Waaaahhh…
