pictorial and sitzprobe
I'm at home right now with red eyes. I think they hate the brand of eye makeup I was wearing yesterday.
I went to school for my yearbook pictorial. Hahaha, after having my makeup done, I was led into the room where the pictures are being taken and I was given a toga to wear with the appropriate sash thing (hahaha, I have no idea what it's called) then waited for my turn. Nyak, after having my set of pics taken, hirit naman ng photographer, "Parang sanay ka na ah!" Huwatsdaaaat...
Then I was told to change for my creative shot. Yikes. What I brought with me was the preppie-schoolgirl outfit I put together: Plaid yellow kilt, white blouse with a red long-sleeved shirt over it, white thigh-high socks, and black leather mary jane shoes. But my skirt was way too short that I was afraid that if I change in the bathroom, a D.O. might catch me while I was on the way back. So I went to the bathroom to put on my top, socks and shoes, then returned to the venue. Hahahaha, I had to borrow one toga so I could change from my jeans to the skirt, because there was no where else to change. And then of course, I borrowed a prop from Ari. It was the Stitch doll that Marah gave him for his birthday. I was kind of shy at first but when I struck a pose, the photographer snapped a picture right away! Nyak. Anyway, we had a second pose, so I borrowed another prop from the pile they provided. The first thing that caught my eye was the fake guitar. I took it from the pile, then struck another pose, and the camera clicked instantly once again! The photographer laughed and said, "Buti na lang nasa gitna ka na!" Ngak.
Met up with Teena at Greenbelt so we can go to the sitzprobe together. I got to see Ate Tere after a long time! Wheee!
Anyway, at Tonequest, almost everyone is out if it because of sickness. Heck, Red couldn't even sing. As for Reubs, he didn't open his mouth unless he had to sing. Funny, while I was re-writing down the lineup, he came up to me, then showed me his phone's screen... "Ano yan" was typed in. Ahahaha... And then we ended up doing a bit of finger-spelling in sign language.
Hahaha, during the car ride home with Robi, Caisa and Kyla, we started talking about these mispronunciations, starting with the airplane guy Kyla mentioned, that said "loptop".
Kyla: Pero at least consistent sya! Inulit pa nya nung end ng flight. "Loptop".
Then there.
Robi: Someone even thought I was "Robi Darusco" after hearing me on the radio.
(Wahahahaha! It's Robi THE RASCAL!)
*everyone laughs*
Robi: It's like that guy who recognized me before. They thought our group was called the "Apalipos". He came up to me and asked "Excuse me, are you part of that group? The Apalipos? The ones that sing acapella?" He knew acapella, but he didn't get our name right.
Kyla: Hahahaha! Robi Darusco of the Apalipos!
