Finally, I found the time to update. To save those who don't want to spend too much time reading this, I was nice enough to cut the entry, teeheehee.

Saturday

The day of the show. Man, I was such a mess when I woke up. I didn't get to eat breakfast because I was in such a rush to get to the theater. I was uber busy along with Cris, fixing all the props and set while the rest of the cast were already busy putting on their costumes and makeup. Rian, who was supposed to play the Pharaoh for the afternoon show, had to back out because of a family affair, but decided to help backstage instead.

I was still running around backstage when Miss Cindy finally caught me. "Why aren't you dressed and in makeup yet?" Gak. Thank goodness the OJTs were already there, so rush rush rush, fly fly fly to the dressing room. Hahaha, when I was dressing up, I looked at the inside of my veil for the first time and saw the name "Peachy" written there. Bwahahahaha! I was actually using the veil that Peach used during the LSGH production.

DTR? It was... crazy. Because Rian had to back out from playing the Pharaoh, Nicco had to do it. He was originally one of our Pharaohs until Rian had agreed, but now, it was such short notice.

I still hadn't eaten anything the entire time, even when people had asked Mimay to buy food outside. When I decided to get food as well, I left it untouched and eventually forgot about it until someone had already eaten it. Oh well.

Before I knew it, it was almost 3pm. SHOWTIME! My brain was fried, thinking of everything that was to happen backstage that I had no time to be nervous. I usually yawn when I'm nervous, but I wasn't. In fact, I was sort of hyped up, discounting the fact that I haven't eaten a bite yet.

Ahehehehehe, so there, when the curtains parted, I pasted a smile on my face and told myself, "Just have fun. Who cares if the audience won't like it?" Wahahaha, too much fun during "One More Angel", because Nicco and I decided to go around the entire stage during the interval. It wasn't until the beginning of Act 2 that I realized that my two best friends since 5th grade, Rosa and Iam, were sitting in the front row! Sometimes I see them grinning and waving at me, ahahaha. Focus, Hogi.

We had a meet-and-greet after the show, but lousy, most of the people had left right away. But of course, Rosa and Iam hung around. I missed these two. Hahaha, they got so amused with our Lady Potiphar (Robert), and they insisted wearing my Egyptian headdress.

Here's something. Rosa got so amused with Nicco's interpretation of the Pharaoh. Nicco, you got a fan!

I finally managed to have my first meal of the day after the show. A bunch of us went to House Blend. Mmmm... pesto pasta...

Well, the evening show was pretty eventful. One word to describe it? COMATOSE. WAHAHAHAHA. Sophie forgot lines, and even Son did. I could even see Rain scratching his fingernails on the wooden floor when we were all down on the ground during the beginning of "Go Go Joseph". Oh yeah, and during "One More Angel", because we told Miko what Nicco and I did during the first show, he decided to do the same with Rosch. Hahaha, so when Nicco and I were going around counterclockwise, we passed by Miko and Rosch, who were going around clockwise! "Akala nyo kayo lang!" Wahahahaha.

Bryan's rendition of the Pharaoh was hilarious. During his "Hey's", he pretended to flash us girls. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Crazy shows.

Same thing, meet-and-greet after the show, and one of the first familiar faces were Peachy, Teena and Aileen! Then there was also Pam and Jenny. Even Leslie came to see the show. Hahaha, of course, when my mom, Grace, Kuya and Ate Maui reached the lobby, my mom just had to approach at least one cast member. Her victim that night was Ferson, hehehe.

After dressing up and returning the costumes, all the props were up for grabs, so everyone started getting souvenirs. Darn, I didn't get any because I was busy dressing up. I wanted to get Potiphar's abacus ever since Mang Boying first showed it to us (though Drei gave it to me yesterday, hehehe).

Once the theater was vacated, we were off to K Channel, as a pre-cast party as well as an early birthday celebration for Nicco. What's more was that because Mimay had recorded the show on her camera, we hooked it up to the TV to watch. Wahahaha, laughs galore.

People started retiring sometime after midnight, but a bunch of us stayed until 4 in the morning. After that, we decided to go to Nicco's old place near school to rest a while, but when we got there, we decided to go home. Took a bus home with Aireen, Glenn, Mai and her boyfriend at past 6 in the morning.

Sunday

Time for the National Theater Festival. After managing to get a few hours of sleep, I met up with Ferson, Nicco and Drei at the condo so we could all go there together. But then we went to Harrison first for lunch at Tokyo Tokyo. My golly, I got an ab workout just sitting there listening to Son's jokes.

Then we went to CCP to meet up with Nikki. Saw a preview of an opera in the Little Theater, and even found Sir Jed there. He wanted to know what happened the day before, but after a few snippets, the ushers told us to vacate the theater. Oh well. Found Mimay Arni in the lobby and we hung around for a while after deciding to go back to the condo while we wait for a preview of SPIT that evening. Miko was watching Jesus Christ Superstar on his PC and we decided to watch as well. I ended up sleeping after a while, hahaha. When I woke up, it was time to go back to CCP.

SPIT was hilarious. Hahaha, when we were about to grab seats, Carelle saw me and thought I had my own show for the NTF. Don't I wish, hahaha.

Something for CLOKWORX... SPIT inspired us. 'Nuff said. Wouldn't it be cool? Hehehe.

After SPIT, we visited Arni at St. Cecilia's for a while and then grabbed a bite to eat at McDo. Then we returned to the condo for a while to unwind for a few minutes. Yay, Drei let me have Potiphar's abacus. Then I went home with him and Nicco.
