Zeneida Amador passed away yesterday, November 28, 2004, due to lung cancer. She made a huge imapct on Philippine theatre, even though I haven't known her personally.

Sometimes I wonder what it would've been like to work with her. Sometimes I'd rather not, being the coward that I am, hahaha.

To quote Krystal, "she left a dent on just about every good thespian you will see on the Philippine stage today." So true. Most of the theater biggies in the country have had a taste of Repertory Philippines' "Tita Bibot", turning them into the superb actors and actresses that you see on the stage today.

Please pray for her soul.

oh sweetie. It's not just in the thespian's life but in everyone she has touched.

I remember, as a child, going to an acting playshop in ADB with her as the acting coach. I lasted 2 days (I was sent packing in tears...malikot daw ako masyado...hehehe) but I don't harbor any ill will..in fact, I will always remember how she very gently told me (as gently as she could anyway) that I was growing up and that my behavior was not acceptable in theater or anywhere else...

She was such a treasure to the Philippines...it's a true loss..
