non-holiday
It's supposedly a holiday today, and I'm in Makati right now. Yes, I went to work. Because by tomorrow, we'll be working in the office and at the Meralco theater.
Well, considering it is a "holiday" today, we didn't have as much calls like we always do during regular days. But of course, there are still the handful that assume we're open even on Sundays. Hahaha, I checked all the calls in the caller ID that we got from yesterday and there was still a lot.
So anyway, tomorrow, I leave the office early and go to Meralco, then set up at the lobby. I doubt that I even get to watch the evening's DTR. We'll see.
Hahaha, last Saturday, Ate Sally and I stayed in the office until 2 in the afternoon, then we went to G4 to take advatage of our Gloria Jeans GCs, hehehe. Got GJ chillers to match the food we decided to eat at Mexicali (which didn't really match at all, hahaha). Then we went to Guess so she can check out some jeans she could get from the GCs she got from Bobby. After that, we went to the Hub so she can finally get her new phone.
Ate Sally had to go then, so I went around the mall on my own, window shopping. Well, one thing in particular that I was looking for was a new black jacket I can wear to the theater. I told myself that if I found one that I can afford that day, I'll buy it. But if it's more expensive than my day's budget, it wasn't meant to be. After 3 floors and a gazillion stores, I found one that's really beautiful, but it was too big for me. I was told by the saleslady that they have a another one in a smaller size in another outlet in another floor, so I had to go to the other side of the mall to find it. And it fit perfectly. Rawr, it wasn't meant to be, because I forgot that I didn't have enough money with me then.
Man, I can't wait for the show to finally open.
Oooh, I saw this documentary on the recording of The Producers soundtrack. In between songs, Mel Brooks narrated the story, and there were a bunch of cuts showing the artists goofing off and stuff. I never realized that Matthew Broderick was cute, hahaha, specially when he sings. Ernest? Got a bootleg of this one? Hahahahaha!
Something to ponder about...
There's a fine line between being close to someone and claiming to be close to someone. "Feeling close," as other people would say. Some people would know the difference, some wouldn't.
I'm off to have dinner. I miss Tokyo Tokyo. Maybe I'll buy some food to go and eat it at home with my 'rents. But my mom wouldn't like it. Then again, there's always Dad who'll eat anything, hahaha.
This "non-holiday" at work is making me talk of too trivial stuff, ahehehe. Ciao for now.
