Hmmm... Valentine's Day.

Some people call it "Single Awareness Day," hahahaha.

It's so funny how couples take advantage of this ocassion. Flowers and candy everywhere. The guys suddenly become gentlemen for their girlfriends, going all out with the dates, looking all proud as the girls lug around those huge flowers all over the mall.

Here's the question. You can do that any day of the year. Why wait for Valentine's Day to show your sweet sides? Oh well.

Was on the phone with Nicco a couple of nights ago. He brought up the fact that yes, he was still lonely, and how lonelier it gets when V-Day is near, among other things.

"Why stick with ___?"
"What kind of girl ang bagay sakin?"

Stuff like that. He started getting contagious by then, rawr. We then started thinking about going out more to keep ourselves from being lonely. My goodness, we sounded so trivial. Oh well, given the time we were talking, it's a good excuse.

I remember one of Mimay's most recent posts about people asking others about being single. I get a lot of that too.

"Ikaw, Hogi, kelan ka magkaka-boyfriend?"
"Wala ka bang plans mag accept ng any guy in your life right now?"

My goodness... What's the big deal?

How apt... "Alone In The Universe" from Seussical is playing again on my laptop.

Going back to that 2nd question thrown at me, I once brought it up with Nikki. She had asked me recently if I did have plans of accepting any guy right now. Well, I just told her that I'm ready, but I'm not just going to go for the next random guy who tries. Let's just say that if there happens to be a guy who makes an attempt, I'll entertain him, and then we'll go from there.
