I'm getting frustrated.

I'm working for this theater company that I love, but I still feel like I'm being suppressed. And deprived.

Hahaha, this is funny. Nicco used to call Drei and me the "terminators" because of our English. He claims that it's because I came from DLSZ and Drei from Southville. I'm notorious for my English that Nicco and Miko hate it when I watch them type away at their written reports. I twitch at the slightest error in grammar, ahahaha.

Hahaha, I like that phrase. I got it from when I watched Blue Rep Sweet Charity at Ateneo's Rizal Mini Theater this evening.

Congrats to Chari, Angela, Jepoy and the rest of the cast and crew! I enjoyed the play to watch.

Charity was such a delight to watch. One thing I disntinctfully remember about Angela was when I was in 7th grade (and she was in 3rd or 4th, I think?), back when we were both in the school production of Oliver. Ahahaha, I never knew the names of all the younger kids who played orphans; I just remembered their faces. Angela's was one of those I never forget because she always seemed to have a smile on her face. And she grew up with that smile, I guess. Anyway, her perfomance as Charity was pretty good. Her comedic timing was great, and I still laugh to myself when I remember how she delivered those punchlines. Plus her face was so animated, I envy her. It was great to finally meet you!

Jepoy as Charity's romantic interest was equally amusing. Even though I noticed that most of his tension was visible on his hands, I sometimes figured that was part of his character. His rapport with Charity was great, his insecurities complimented her optimism. You guys rule! Great to meet you too!

I'm actually kinda lazy to write about what else had happened because I'm getting sleepy. I just want to write something for now because I won't be online tomorrow. Shooting Maria Milagros Barbarosa again.

Spent most of yesterday sleeping. More on that later.

So Teena, Peachy and I went to watch Sweet Charity last Thursday night. When we got there, we had to wait for a little while longer for the house to open. Tricia was at the front-of-house, occasionally approaching to entertain us.

The musical was totally entertaining. I loved Angela's interpretation of Charity. She fleshed out the bubbly character, and her punchlines were perfect. I still can't forget that "Fickle finger of fate" line, hahahaha! Her chemistry with Jepoy's Oscar was superb, but I guess it was a given knowing that they have the same chemistry offstage. Red was also part of the cast, as this crazy head of this "church" Oscar had mentioned after he and Charity had spent quite some time together being stuck in the elevator.

It was nice seeing a whole bunch of familiar people around. I saw Joel manning the video camera that was documenting the whole show. Ahahaha, I was talking to Red after the show when Chinie suddenly appeared at our side.

Then on Friday right after work, we resumed shooting Maria Milagros Barbarosa in Fairview. Hehehe, before I donned the pink maid's uniform again, I took a couple of photos with some other cast members.

Once again, walang tulugan, plus I had to memorize this cheezy song that's used for a telenovela. I don't like telenovelas, and I don't listen to a lot of local songs, so I have no clue how it went, so I had to ask Mimay to teach me the song. What's more was that it never retained in my mind, so I keep forgetting then asking for the next line and how it went. Ahehehe, lousy.

The best part of the entire shoot came when I got a text message from Ari sometime after midnight. He said that his voice was out of commission, so he would be useless at work. Then he said that he was planning to go to the shoot. I didn't know how serious he was, until he asked how to get there because he was already on his way... from Alabang!

He spent most of his time in his car though, sleeping, because he claimed that he was shy to mingle with the people, ahehehe.

When the shoot was finally over (excluding the voice-overs I have yet to do), I hauled Ari inside, hahaha. Mimay began her interview with him, and kept asking why we're not together anymore. My golly, are we ever sick of that question.

Went to Greenbelt to have breakfast at Cafe Breton. Well, I did, anyway. He just got a vanilla milkshake because he already got to eat my food from the shoot. My golly, I think I ate too much too fast. It was 9 in the morning, I've been awake for 28 hours, and my last meal was at around 15 hours before then. So we walked around for a while before going back to the car. Thanks for driving all the way to Quezon City and back home!

When I got home, I slept the moment I plopped on the bed. My aunt had to wake me up at around 9 in the evening yesterday, just so I can eat dinner. Then after watching Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition, it was to sleeping until 11 this morning, hehehe.

In other news...

I just heard last night about the awards night of Sinag Sining (formerly known as CSB's Crossroads theater festival) from Mish.

Nicco's performance in Kapihan sa Loob ng Isang Dula got him the best actor award. Congrats, bro! And No Show, the play Drei and Bryce were in, was awarded best play. Congrats, you guys!

Tabulas was down yesterday. Darn it.

Last Thursday I dropped by Taft to get a couple of DVDs from Drei. Found him, Nicco and Mervin at the condo, watching Friends. Drei gave me the DVDs, then left, leaving Nicco with the key. We watched a few more episodes until Nicco had decided to go out to eat. The 3 of us had dinner at Chiggy's, while the two of them told me bits and pieces of Sinag Sining's awards night (when Nicco had won the Best Actor award and Best Lighting for Merv), among other things.

Then Nicco told me about the vision he shares with Russell. I actually like it. I want to be there.

After a while, we went to Starbucks to continue talking and hang out. Hahaha, we managed to nab the corner with the two couches. More talk... while waiting for Russ and Pio (who had texted Nicco earlier in the evening asking where he was). Hehehe, we were also waiting for Mervin to finish charging his phone (using my charger).

When Merv had left, Nicco finally talked about what he was waiting to tell me since I arrived at the condo. Hahaha, he was totally uncomfortable trying to tell the whole story.

Friday, Mish invited me to go with her to her uncle's birthday celebration at LTO in Pasig. Met her outside her dorm, and we took a cab all the way to the venue, all the while talking about certain stuff, ahehehe. When we got there, I got to meet one of her aunts and we sat with them at their table, then got some food to eat.

When we went to the buffet, we saw a familiar guy ahead of us. This dark celebrity guy, that comedian/singer/rapper? I don't really know who he is. All I know was that he's called Norman something. Anyway, apparently he's a friend of Mish's uncle, and he's performing 2 sets that night for free with this other guy he does his act with. They were hilarious. They both reminded me of this stand-up comedy duo called Porkchop (anyone still remember them?).

After their first set, we got to see Mish's mom and aunts perform a Latin dance for everyone. Hahaha, her mom asked her to take pictures, so I willingly lent my camera.

That Norman guy returned for a second set, and near the end of their act, Rico J. Puno arrived. He's also a friend of Gen. Berroya, so he's performing a freebie as well. Hahaha, he was funny as well. Too bad I didn't get to snap some photos of the people who performed. My camera's batteries were running low. Darn it, I didn't even get to take pictures of the fireworks display after Rico J's short set.

Because the voice-overs for Maria Milagros Barbarosa wasn't done yet, I went to UP Diliman after work to meet with Sheena and Irene so we can finally record it. Good thing I still remembered where their building was (thanks to Mimay for bringing us there once before), I found them waiting in the lobby with their other friends that I met during the shoot.

Went to the next building where a bunch of their other friends were editing on the second floor. Hehehe, as it turned out, Irene had forgotten to bring the script, so she had to write all the voice-overs after calling her sister on the phone. Wahaha, while she was writing, they showed me what they had edited so far. My goodness, I look so funny. Ew ew ew. When it was done, we went into the hall because it was quieter there.

It didn't take long to read through the whole thing and record. Ahahaha, Sheena was holding the camera while we were recording. She kept the lens cap off so it was pointed at my chest the whole time, hahahaha!

Speaking of the 22nd, Rent will be finally be showing in cinemas! Jeez, I've waited since November for that darn movie to premiere here in Manila. I already saw it once on DVD, but I really have to watch on the big screen. Paging Nix!


I read in one of Cris' blog entries before about being alone and yet not being lonely at the same time. I enjoy moments like those too, specially when I get off work and just go around the mall to unwind. I'd find myself at Timezone letting off some steam, at Powerbooks thumbing through some obscure book I randomly grabbed off the shelf, or sitting at Starbucks to watch the people go by. And people look on as if I was crazy to go out alone. My goodness.

But sometimes, when I least expect it, a tide of loneliness would wash over me. I would miss being with someone. Well, no one in particular, really. It could be a special friend, or someone that I would remember because I found some stranger that reminded me of him/her. Usually, the people I'd remember and miss would be the friends that I hung out with a lot for a time.

Oh no, gotta switch off that sentimental mode.

Got home about 20 minutes ago. Went to CSB this evening to watch Benildanze's show, Metamorphosis, by Stephen the national artist, ahehehe. By the way, thanks for letting me in the guest list, Stephen.

I suddenly found myself face to face with Nicco when I had reached the top of the stairs in front of the LRC lobby. They actually had a ticket selling booth set up right there for Kopihaus, and found the rest of the people. There was Drei, Mervin, Alvin, even Arman, Russell, Mariko and Maje.

Dropped by Benildanze's home turf and found Miss Cindy and Sir Manolet, and couldn't help but laugh when they found that I was still where I am last year. Anyway, said hi, then found Mish and Dang by the back doors of the theater repainting some Monobloc chairs. Mish, I love your new hair, hehehe. After a little chat with Pam, I went around to the theater lobby.

Oooh, found food there, hahaha. Pizza and Mojo potatoes by Shakey's, yum. I was kinda hungry, but I didn't want to be the first to dig in, so I hung back for a while. When the people started approaching, I still hung back, even when Miss Cindy had gestured me to go attack the food. Lotsa familiar faces abound. I miss that, just hanging out in the theater lobby alone and finding a lot of people you can approach and talk to.

Ended up sitting between Mish and Eka in the 3rd row. Darn, I should've brought my camera.

Anyway, the show was a blast. I've only begun to appreciate shows such as these during the last year I was in CSB, but I started growing interest in it when I took Danform class once before (when we were still trying to learn the names of all those ballet terms).

Stephen, I salute you. Last year, I was already praising you because of a dance that had your name on it. Now you have an entire show that evolved from that excerpt that I saw then. Each message/story was clearly depicted in each dance, and I was in awe. What kept me from being totally in awe was the amusement of seeing familiar people onstage. Dancers I knew from Beauty and the Beast and Intersection were everywhere.

I was supposed to write a critique of the show, but now all my thoughts flew out the window. I guess I'll do it tomorrow.

Blahahahaha, when the show had ended, I actually found Sir Manolet dancing crazily. When I was near him at the lobby doors, I commented his dance and he did this weird and goofy Twist-like dance move, hahahahaha!

After the show, hung around for a while at Plaza V with Drei, Nicco, Pio and Maje. Just sat there, and for a while Drei took out his laptop and took a sneak peak at the first handful of scenes of Kopihaus for Maje. When the guard told us to leave because it was already late, we decided to go and eat. First went to Jollibee, but we couldn't find enough seats, so we settle for Tapa King instead. There was me, Nicco, Drei, Pio, Maje and Mariko, then Russell managed to catch up.

Weird, I didn't eat much before the show, and I realized I wasn't really hungry then, but managed to eat most of my food. Oh well.

After a while, when we all left Tapa King, I decided to leave them and go right on home. Someone was texting me, asking where I was, and I accidentally mentioned it aloud. Hahahaha, Nicco, I'll tell you everything on Saturday. Getting sleepy then, but by the time I reached my room earlier, I lost some of my sleepiness to blog, hahaha.

Now I'm getting sleepy again. And to think that Empire Records is playing again on Jack TV.

So as promised, here are my two cents about Metamorphosis. Once again, these are all just my opinion. So for anyone involved in the show who manages to stumble into my blog, please take note of that. I don't want to find angry messages in my phone anymore just because of what I wrote.

First off, Ritwal. Listening to the water sounds in the music eased my mind, hahaha. Next to me, Mish had said that the dancers were pretty tired that day because they were dancing their bums off for some video for the show. No wonder Mylez stuck out. It showed in her body that she was pretty tired. Ahehehe, part of the dance reminded me of Stomp, because the guys came in with these bamboo poles. Gak, somewhere in the middle of the dance, the pair in the center dropped their pole by accident. Well, at least it didn't break the symmetry, hehe. Consider it part of the show. It could go with the whole "unity in diversity" theme, teehee. The lights sort of bothered me, though, because the blue and the other colors didn't seem to merge well.

Descent 1: fall of the angels. I've seen this number before, last year in Megamall during the Arts and Music Festival at one of the Megatrade halls. Men are angels that have fallen from heaven. The struggle to do good and go against evil... about the choreo, I don't want to say that it's not original, it's just that it seems that I've seen it before. Or maybe it's just because I had already seen that entire thing already. The lighting was too familiar too, with all that amber, ahehehe.

Descent 2: deliberation of man. God poses as man and decides the fate of the people. Hahaha, so this was where the red Monobloc chairs that Mish and Dang were repainting come in.

Descent 3: angst of a woman. Women break conformity and tradition. Pretty, hehehe. The girls in filmy flowing red dresses in the beginning, as conservative and graceful movements, then halfway through, they suddenly tear off their skirts as move as free as they can. Man, the way they moved, I envy them, right from the beginning until the end of the number.

Le Fantasie. This was funny. Jerald, the principal in the number, is a guy who's as feminine as can be. While staring at his reflection in the mirror, he puts on a white tutu and gets lost in the fantasy with the other guys dressed in black tutus. My golly, as they danced, they reminded me of those eternally smiling dolls that scare me. And the punchline, Jerald has Jerohme for his prince, wahahahaha.

Fields of Gold. Aw, I love this one. I love the song. I love the concept of the girl pining for the love of a painter. As the girl danced, this guy on stage left sits and paints a picture of her, at the same time being shown on a projector screen so everyone can see him paint. Lovely.

After the 10-minute intermission...

Cockfight. Normally when you think "cockfight," it would automatically be between 2 males, right? For this one, it's two females. Great costumes, but the two girls who were doing this number didn't seem to have that much energy for the number. Well, I understand they're uber tired, but hey, if it shows, the whole number would look like a downer.

Metamorphosis. This is one of my favorites. The first part, when the dancers were all in these white cocoon-like sheets with their restricted movement, reminded me of Martha Graham's "Lamentation" (wheee, research in Danform class paid off! Hahaha...). Anyway, throughout the number, they broke out of their cocoons, and out they came as these luminous green creatures. Nice lighting, hehe. Black light worked wonders for the costumes.

Pinoy Medley: P.S. I Love You. The most entertaining number in the show, hahaha. Pinoy retro themed, Mylez was meant to stand out like a sore thumb in this one. She was amusing. Considering how tired she looked in the first number, this one made up for it, complete with a crazy smile, ahehehe.

Immobile. A dancer tries dancing with a cast and a lone crutch. Goes to show how you can also make a dance number even with a temporary disability. Phillip's choreography reminded me of the Nutcracker, though, ehehehe. Try dressing him up in that costume and you'll notice the similarity.

Death of the Dancer. I think this is the longest number in the show... and the most interesting. It's concept was simple: Smoking. To quote the playbill, " Smoking is part of the Filipino lifestyle - to release stress, and for some, to help think and to calm themselves. Dancers, in the same way, smoke to release tension and pre-performance pressure, without realizing that smoking reduces fitness. Can they dance while smoking?" Well, I guess they can. My golly, I can't believe they can actually manage to do that, hahaha.

Now my mind's a blank. Thank goodness that was the last dance number, hahaha.

Nicco had asked we meet up yesterday along with Drei so we can help him with a bunch of school work. We had decided to meet at the condo, but when I arrived in Taft, Drei was out, and found him at UM's Amusement Media Center.

When Nicco had arrived, we waited a while, until he asked if we could watch Kopihaus at the condo. So Drei oblingingly logged out, and we headed for Madison. But the laptop still needed charging, so we watched a few episodes of Friends first. When the laptop was done, time to watch! Ahehehe, so there, a sneak preview of the re-edited film. I'll hold back on the comments for now, after I watch it again this week.

After watching the film, we were deciding what to do next. Nicco wanted to see a movie, but I declined for a while. When we asked Drei what he's planning to do, he said that he's planning to go home to the south, but after he goes back to playing at AMC. That said, he left the keys with us and headed back there. Nicco and I ended up watching more episodes of Friends while waiting for other people to reply to our messages, inviting them to join us to watch a movie.

Hehehe, Nicco had said we were planning to talk about certain issues, but he was still uncomfortable about talking in that certain area of Taft, ahehehe. So OK, I just had to agree to go to G4.

Arg, the place was crowded. Darn sale crowd. Anyway, the first thing we decided was to eat, but we went upstairs to the cinemas first to check out movie schedules. Then off we went to Food Choices. We were still looking for what to eat, and while we were walking, some guy stood from his seat and blocked my way, just waving at me. I stood there dumbly, trying to recall where I've seen him. Before I could react, he said "Hi Yogi, I'm Yuri." WAHAHAHAHA! "Yogi"? It was Yuri, Bryan's friend, and when he said that, that's when we realized that Bryan was sitting at the table as well.

After small talk with Bryan, we left him and got back to looking for food. We decided to get a separate table even if Bryan had offered we sit with them. Hahaha, mostly because those two don't have much to say to each other. No, don't get me wrong. It's not that they don't like each other or something, it's just that. If we all sit together, it's gonna be full of awkward moments, ahehehe.

Went up to Timezone after eating, and once again, Nicco was back at Guitar Freaks. While he was playing, he said he saw Naomi walk by. Sure enough, there was Naomi and Eka walking toward Starbucks with a couple of Korean guys that Eka knows. Said hi, hung around, and then they went inside. After a few moments, Omi joined us again because she said that she couldn't really converse with the Koreans as well as Eka.

When Nicco and I had decided to go to Gloria Jeans to hang out (and to finally listen to what he has to say, hahaha), Omi decided to walk with us downstairs. Wahahaha, it's either because of those Korean guys, or because of Nicco. While we were walking, we ran into Blonski, Den and Mandy. Hahaha, finally, we found people we wanted to see (no offense to the people we already ran into). They were planning to watch Date Movie and invited us as well. So whee, back to the cinemas for us (postponed the talk and decided for a phone call later that night), bought tickets to the movie, then killed time in Timezone before the movie started.

Date Movie was funny, yeah, specially having Alyson Hannigan in the lead. But it was the typical spoof movie. Hilarious, but sort of cliche.

Back to Timezone after the movie, hehehe. Then Omi and Eka had to leave, and Den met up with her mom at Starbucks. I went with Mandy back to Taft so it's easier to get a ride from there, while Nicco and Blonski headed home together.

I dropped by Music Studio when we arrived in Taft to say hi to Mish and Dang at the gig they organized, then headed home myself.

By the by, thanks for everything, Nicco! Hahaha, my turn next time.

Last Friday night, I had the pleasure of being with one of my closest friends, just hanging out and talking.

I wasn't really planning on doing anything during the evening. Then after a brief phone call, a car had pulled up in front of my house, and we were off to Starbucks Madrigal. Hahaha, too bad it was already late. I heard from a few friends that this Rinka girl (sorry, I don't really know her) had a gig earlier that night, and we missed it.

When we were halfway done with our drinks, we left the venue and drove around Ayala Alabang. Settled at this playground and just sat there, more talking. I loved it there. First we were sitting at the swings, but swinging distracted me from our conversation so we moved to that huge wooden contraption with the slides and the monkey bars, and just sat there. It felt great sitting there with a close friend, sometimes talking or sometimes just sitting quietly next to each other.


My mom and I had discussed a couple of certain issues between us this evening, and if I wasn't so into the conversation, I would've laughed at what was on TV behind her. Sharon, talking about mother-daughter relationships. How apt.

After being acknowledged as a friend again a couple of months ago, I wanted to say hi. But I guess I was shy or afraid or something else that's negative.

"Take the risk!" one once said. So OK, let's see. I don't know if I'll be acknowledged again, but at least I made a move. That's good enough closure for me.

I once tried eating Cracklings Salt & Vinegar and Mr. Chips at the same time one afternoon. And it tasted like salsa, hahaha.

Last Monday, I went to school in the afternoon to check out how Kopihaus # 8 was doing on its first day. No offense to the thesis group, but the turnout wasn't good. Hope these last couple of days was better. By the way, did I see someone giddy before the 7pm show? Ahehehe... it's not that I wanted to say anything. I just quipped then because it seemed pretty obvious even if no one had said anything. Peace!

Oh, all right. Speaking of film theses, Maria Milagros Barbarosa will be shown this Friday at 9am, at UP Cine Adarna. Hehehe, early, I know. Sheena and Irene, good luck on your defense! Too bad I won't be able to watch. Of course, I don't think I'm ready to watch it just yet. I know that I'll cringe and cringe in my seat, hahaha.

Can someone please confirm this? I heard from GA late this afternoon that there will be a university-wide production on the life of St. La Salle. So it involves both DLSU and CSB people, students and alumni and possibly faculty and staff. Does anyone have more details about this?

I just hope it's not Teach the World, HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I think Seinfeld's mocking me, hahaha. I've been watching these reruns of the show on Star World. I saw an episode before about Jerry finding this certain jacket that looked totally perfect on him. And to think that I have this jacket fetish. When I caught the show again this morning, it was about the situation between exes Jerry and Elaine, hahahaha!


It's funny how people find friends sometimes. They get fascinated about their realizations that they have something in common, so they end up spending as much time together as they possibly can.

I do this myself. Whenever I find new friends I have a lot in common with, I somehow spend almost every waking moment with them from that point on, paying more attention to them than others.


I have to go back to the office in the morning. The printer where we had our tickets made goofed up, so Ate Sally and I have to fix each and every one of them.


I got a text from Sheena early this afternoon, saying that the panel liked Maria Milagros Barbarosa. Congrats to you and Irene! Made me look forward to watching it. Well, not really, hahaha. I just got curious, but it's totally weird to watch myself.


Oh yeah, I went to CSB again yesterday just to bug the Kopihaus people. I wasn't really planning to watch again, ahehehe. Though I was hoping that Nikki and Remus would, but as it turned out, Nikki got caught up with editing her finals project so they didn't make it. Ended up just hanging out in the theater lobby the whole time.

When the final screening was over and everything was packed up, a bunch of us (Drei, Nicco, Ciege, Mariko, Bei, Arumi, Russell and I) went to Tapa King. Ended up playing this game that the boys were playing earlier that evening, where you pick a category and everyone has to say something in that category in alphabetical order. It's like watching SPIT all over again, hahahaha.


Ahehehe, I found more emails from our batch's Yahoo group about Teach the World. I just had to laugh at one's reply, asking what it was. Oh yeah, it was a play worth forgetting, wahahahaha.

Spent yesterday morning until 2pm at the office. Darn printer had this goof-up that the ink they used to print the ticket numbers smudge easily. So what did we have to do? Write the ticket numbers all over again in pen.

My golly, now I really know how Barbie felt in Maria Milagros Barbarosa when she was writing to her mom, hahaha.

Commercial break... About MMB, I got a text from Sheena this morning, saying "Ang daming naaliw sau! Ok dw un acting. Hehe. Ayus!" Hehehe, I know I'm feeding my ego. But I really had fun shooting that film for their thesis.

Anyway, when we were finally done with all the tickets (8 sets!), we called it a day. Went to Taft and hung out with Nicco, Drei and Mish. My initial plan was just to go there, hang out for a while, and just hand over Nicco's necklace that I had fixed. We ended up watching the Nanny McPhee DVD Nicco and I had bought earlier that afternoon. Plus we ordered some pizza, yum. Hehehe.

What next? Because Drei wasn't feeling well, he retired to his bed, and Erik did the same. Nicco, Mish and I still hung around, just sitting there and talking. Hahaha, at first, Mish and I were just looking through Nicco's phone, and she kept pointing out all the girls Nicco has photos with. There goes the "gulli-ball", as we used to call it, hahaha. When she noticed at least a couple of girls, Nicco claimed it was one of his exes, and I played along, hahahaha! We even tried to figure out when he was "together" with those girls, ahehehe.

Afterwards, we ended up talking about some topic that Mish opened up. When Nicco briefly gave his two cents, we got into the conversation even more. Heck, we needed a guy's opinion, so there you go, hehe. After a while, the topic shifted to Nicco once again, hahaha.

When we had parted ways, Mish had texted that she had missed being with us like that. Yeah, twas fun, wasn't it? Plus Nicco had said that it was the first time Mish had opened up. Well, not really. Mish and I talk a lot when it's just the two of us talking. Though it was better with a guy around, hahaha. As always, my baby bro has the weirdest timing when he sounds out his opinion to Mish. Ehehehe.

It was actually just popped in my head about 5 or 6 years ago. I was thinking of an original username while I was online when I heard the song "Our Time" on my player. And being so cautious and critical of the time, the irony suited me because "timeless" meant "not limited to time."

What would you change your name to, if you were changing it?
Huwaw, I have never thought of that yet.

Why that?
I guess this question doesn't apply because of my answer to the previous one.

Why?
It has really grown on me. I've become quite fond of it as well.

Man, it's so hot today. I guess summer's here.

Nikki and I had an interesting conversation the other night. Once again, about what happens to friends, among other topics.

Hehehe, it's so funny how I think of things from the muddled puddle of my brain, and once I find the time to talk to Nikki, she manages to bring them up without my mentioning it. It's always refreshing to talk to her. From funny quips while catching up on each other's news to random pondering punctuated with hilarious segues.

That's why I look forward to meeting up with her tomorrow.

In other news, I'm being bugged. 'Nuff said. Que annoying. It doesn't help my brooding mood that I'm being bothered with enough already.

Hahaha, I hoping for some rain, but I wasn't counting on today to rain. Oh well.

So I had planned to meet up with Nikki after work today (oops, based on the time, yesterday). We were supposed to meet at 6, so I killed some time when I got out by browsing in Powerbooks in Glorietta. What I hate about that branch is that there isn't any place to sit. WHY??!??

Anyway, after I pored over this book about the Tony Awards, I got tired of standing so I went to Starbucks. Nicco and I had been exchanging messages earlier, and I invited him to join us. Hahaha, he just had to remind me that it was payday. Meaning, it was my turn to treat him, ahehe. Anyway, he arrived even before Nikki and Remus did, hahaha.

So anyway, what were we to do? Of course, it was obvious. Movie time, hahaha! But what to watch? We had all seen Nanny McPhee on separate occasions, and Nicco had already seen Just Friends. Then Nikki reminded me that we had agreed to watch Rent together. So Rent it was. After purchasing tickets, we decided to eat first while waiting for the next screening. By the time we found a table at Food Choices, we ended up going back up and ordering at Wendy's to eat inside the theater, hahaha.

Well, I've already seen Rent once (on DVD), but it was so worth it seeing it on the big screen. But then again, I guess I liked it better onstage. I guess what I only liked about the movie version was that it make me think, "Oh, so this is what it could look like." No offense to those who loved the movie version.

It was actually amusing to hear different people react to everything. It was like everything was new and fresh to some, and to others, they knew what to expect and rode along. I even noticed how Remus reacted to Angel and Collins' lip-lock, hahaha!

After the movie, Nikki and Remus had to go home, so we parted ways. Nicco's plan was to go back to Taft to hang with Russ, but his phone's battery went dead. I had to stick by him for a while because I lent him my phone with his sim card, so he can contact Russ and Bei, hahaha.

Ended up going with Nicco to Taft because it was easier to get a ride home from there at that time. It was still raining when we got to the Starbucks there, and we found Mariko, Maje, Bei, and Bei's cousin Andrew sitting at a table outside, so we joined them. When I sat down, I saw that Maje was cuddling this adorable little shih tzu named Charriol, which belonged to Andrew. Aw, she's so cute. So anyway, I hung around with them for a while, as Nicco exhibited his phobia with dogs, to the amusement of the girls, hehehe. I then remembered Nicco during Garahe days, trying to stay as far away as possible from King, Camille's chow chow, while saying, "He can smell my fear." HAHAHAHA! Nicco, I can't wait for you to meet Terie, hehehe.

My goodness, ever since Maje first saw me, she started calling me "Buffy" because I look like her. I don't think I have heard her call me by name yet, ahahahaha.

Anyway, I gotta sleep in a while.
