first workshop week
I'm so glad it's finally Saturday. I can finally catch up on some well-deserved sleep.
I guess I can finally say that I made the right choice by signing up for the workshop. I'm not saying that my previous workshops weren't any good. I'm just following what Tito Audie had told a handful of us before. "Branch out!" he had exclaimed. Well, maybe he meant we should leave the nearby venue and go to the bigger one. But I went farther than that on my return to workshops.
There's almost 20 of us in the class, and one thing I noticed in this group, there was no age gap whatsoever. Unlike some of my previous ones, there seems to be this certain gap between the younger kids and the older ones, so the ones in the same age range automatically group together and form a sort of clique. Once again, let me repeat that I'm saying I didn't like my previous training. Heck, that's where I learned most of this stuff.
Hahaha, the funniest part was whenever I spoke. Without fail, Mimay always reacts to everything I say, repeating it, complete with comment that I sound so "conyo". If I didn't know Mimay prior to the workshop, I would've found her rude. But hey, I knew what I sound like. I got used to talking a certain way. Now I know what Miss Tess meant that you have to learn then unlearn to be a good actor.
Our classes have been held at the Little Theater for 2 evenings in a row now. Man, I love the feel of the class when we're there. So much better than upstairs at the Silangan Hall.
I was kinda lazy all week, but here are now some

Maje and I at Krokodile Grill last Monday.
We missed you, Bei! Hahahaha, you two are the camwhores.

With Nicco on my other side.

Mervyn, Maje and I.

Tin and I sitting upstage at the Little Theater after Thursday's class.

Mimay had found a good side light for this photo.
Too bad it's a little blurred.

After class in the hall.
Tin, emoting.
Fiance, just in the middle.
Merv, eating the pineapple he bought before he arrived in class.

Take 2.
Tin in another pose, Nicco coming out of nowhere, Fiance in an exploding pose, and Merv still at it with the pineapple.

At Tapa King.
Fiance, Jonna, Merv, JP, Tin and Mimay.

Mimay and me.

The other side of the table.
Me, Nicco, Gem, Carmela and Fiance.

Tin and Mimay.

Now a photo of the whole group.
I'll update more when I wake up. Time to catch up on my zzz's.
