I've been sick all week, and I had to take 2 days off to stay home. Ahehehe, but of course, I still wanted to make the most out of my week, so I only took one day off from our workshop. Hehehe, I really couldn't stay away, even if I still had the cough.

We spent 2 evenings in a row at the CCP Main Theater! Hahaha, it was a blast; I actually got to trod on the stage barefoot.

We've been working on improvisation this week, and I love it! I needed to learn improv, because, yes, even with that, I still held back before. Hahaha, as expected, we first worked on one-word story and similar stuff, but when we started moving up, we all started going crazy. For 3 days, we completed the "sex, drugs and violence" them, ahehehe. I specially enjoyed yesterday's exercises. In one, we would all go up 3 at a time, and we had to be in 3 positions (sitting in a chair, standing, or just on the floor) with no one doing the same thing while keeping a conversation going. Then next was the alphabet, where we made conversation in pairs, alternately beginning each sentence with A, B, C and so on. Too bad I didn't get to try the shopping list. That was more interesting.

Oh yeah, last night, during our last hour of class, we got to go to the conference hall, where the musical theater class was being held. They were to present a little something from what they learned in class, and we had to do so as well. We decided to do two: the Brain exercise (otherwise known as the Oracle) and the Prism (a multiple mirror exercise). I was absent the day they did the latter, so I decided to join this group so I can try it. Before then, we rehearsed everything in the main theater first. Then we were off to meet the other class.

First observation upon arrival, we looked haggard than the musical theater class, hahahaha! We were all sweaty because we only had a bunch of electric fans cooling us in the main theater, while their class venue was airconditioned. And they were all wearing their IDs. Oh yeah, I think there were only 9 of them in the class, while we were twice as many. Plus they looked a bit more reserved than we were.

They did this slow time exercise, plus a short dance that incoporated moves contributed by each of them. By the time they were done, I guess we were thinking, "Hey, with what we're about to show, it'll look like we're just playing compared to what they did, hahaha." So anyway, we first showed one Brain (there were two), then our Prism, then the other Brain. Hahaha, the Brains' answers were just too crazy for words.

After class, a whole bunch of us went to Jollibee for dinner, then to Providence for videoke-ing the whole night away. Oh my, when Ian joined us, he got a little crazy. OK, way crazy. No way will we ever look at him the same way again, hahaha. I doubt we'll ever have any more respect for him as one of our teachers come Tuesday, HAHAHAHA! Kidding!

Man, I'm still coughing. But at least I feel better than earlier this week.
