I'm supposed to be with my script right now, but here I am again, back online.
Hahaha, I'm supposed to put this in the Atlantis blog, but I'd rather let the cast do the honors of writing the first post there. But this is just too funny for me not to post.
Anyway, in Doubt rehearsals this afternoon, while the cast was warming up, I found myself and Bea standing nearby. Then after Chari made the cast do a "run, freeze" exercise, she made Bea and I join the next one, which was a game of freeze tag. Holy kamote. After appointing Nic as the It, Cherie, Cathy, Tita Jay, Bea and I were off and around the whole rehearsal area. I was trying to stay as far away as possible until I realized that I was the only one left that wasn't tagged. So I hastily ran over to where Bea was and unfroze her by crawling between her legs (yes, Chari had said that that was how to unfreeze someone, hahaha). Before I had gotten back on my feet, I was tagged and frozen. Hahaha, what a workout. And I thought I wouldn't have to deal with workshop exercises on Mondays, hahaha.
Throughout the entire rehearsal, I was observing how Chari was as a director, because I had always been so used to Bobby. Plus now that I'm making another attempt as an actor, I wanted to see how one director is different from another. I like how she kept seeing whether the actors are comfortable doing a certain action or not. I like that approach. Sometimes I want to come up to her and ask how I should work on my character in Our Town, but I'm still kinda intimidated by her.
We're supposed to have our lines memorized by tomorrow, my golly. Good luck.
